Our rigorous training, development and mentoring programmes mean schools can be truly confident of Artis' commitment to excellence. Before work in schools can begin, Artis Specialists attend our award-winning Training and Development Programme, including regular residential courses with some of the country's leading performing artists and educationalists. The programme is ongoing and after their first year with Artis, Artis Specialists receive five days' training each subsequent year for consistent professional development. Not only does our training programme build performing arts skills, it includes all the generic teaching skills necessary to deliver inspired - and inspiring - work in the school context.
