Artis has placed us on the fast track to developing a more creative curriculum. Their unique approach to cross-curricular performing arts clearly raises the quality of teaching and learning within the school.

 Artis has been working in our school for 3 weeks now with all Year 1 & 2 children. I can already see the progression in all the children but particularly with the quiet, shy ones. We are working very hard at Glebe Infants to increase the Creative experiences for our children in line with The Primary Strategy and in my opinion working with Artis is one of the best ways to do this and even if money is tight in the future I will hold onto this at all costs. The children adore Kersplat and say that this is the best bit about school. It’s a good job I have confident teachers who don’t mind! I have to stay away from the school hall as I’m mesmerised by watching her teach and by the children’s reactions and I have work to do but it’s so much more fun watching her. It has also given the teachers ideas to build on in the classroom and is a wonderful stimulus for creative writing. I can’t speak highly enough of this fantastic resource which I’m lucky enough to have in my school.

 Good speaking and listening skills underpin the whole curriculum, and need to be systematically developed. This is one of the main reasons we chose Artis to work in our school, as their programme is excellent in developing these essential skills in an enjoyable and creative way.
